Bio
A leading flute teacher in Sydney, Rosie Gallagher enjoys a varied life as a musician in Australia. She holds a private flute studio and has expertly guided students towards excellence in AMEB exams, Scholarship auditions, Sydney Eisteddfods and HSC exams. She welcomes intermediate to advanced students who are looking to expand their musicality and technique, and work towards personalised goals. Rosie received her Bachelor of Music at The Juilliard School and her Master of Arts at The Royal Academy of Music in London.
Rosie regularly performs with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia. She is the co-founder of Hayes Street Studio, a music venue in Neutral Bay which presents intimate performances of chamber music. At Hayes Street Studio Rosie co-directs both the concert series and the Young Artist Program with Lee Dionne.
