His other performed operatic roles include Normanno in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Goro in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Sailor in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Monostatos and The First Armed Man in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Mr. Upfold (The Mayor) in Britten’s Albert Herring, and Bastien in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne. His concert performances include tenor soloist in Stainer’s Crucifixion, Handel’s L’allegro, il Penseroso, ed il Moderato, and Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël. He also sang as a soloist with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra in their 2022 Last Night of the Proms concert.

Teaching Info

I teach from a studio located in the Sydney CBD and welcome students of all ages who are interested in developing their voices and expanding their repertoire. I will collaborate with you to help you set and design appropriate goals. I am a passionate advocate for improving student’s vocal health. My students receive bespoke programs of technical work to target their deficiencies and develop range, stamina, agility, and beauty of tone. In the past I have attended speech pathology and performance physiotherapy appointments with students to integrate their care plans into their singing lessons.

I encourage my students who are auditioning for professional performances or tertiary programs to maintain a rigorous practice regime alongside regular lessons. I have extensive experience with the HSC Music 1 and 2 syllabuses as both a classroom music teacher and a private voice teacher. I am conversant with a wide range of repertoire across the primary singing languages (English, Italian, German, and French). My students have successfully auditioned for musical theatre productions, tertiary institutions, and symphonic choirs.

My studio has a grand piano and is a warm environment for students to explore their creativity. My interest in vocal applies to all genres and styles of music as I believe that the principles of good singing apply to both contemporary and classical voice.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you explore your vocal potential.
