Cello Lessons

Qualifications: B.Mus (Perf.), A.Mus.A
Pricing: $120 per hour (shorter lessons available)
Suitability: I can teach every age and level - but I particularly enjoy primary-school aged children, and adults.

Bio

I have been teaching cello and classroom music for over 30 years. I have a special ability with primary-aged children – I guarantee they will enjoy their lessons and want to practise! I also enjoy teaching adults, and the complexity that brings.
As well as being a committed music educator, I run the ‘Bach in the Dark’ concert series.

Teaching Info

Part of learning well and making good progress is learning how to practise – and from lesson one, I will guide you through how to practise regularly and efficiently. In each lessons we will cover scales, relevant music theory and aural pracitse, all relevant to the particualar pieces you are working on.
