Bio

I have been loving my work as both a piano and guitar teacher as well as a performing musician since moving to Sydney from Byron Bay in 2020. I recently completed full-time bachelor degree in Jazz Piano Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a high distinction average.

I also work as a band leader and member of various music ensembles throughout Sydney and have experience 20 years experience performing in bands at music festivals and events including the Byron Blues Festival, Ted X events, Sienna Jazz festival as well as classical piano recitals and solo jazz piano concerts.

Teaching Info

I have over seven years of teaching experience and have taught all skill levels and ages. I dedicate myself and tailor my lessons depending on each students individual interests and goals. I like to keep lessons fun and relaxed whilst also offering catered practice methods and learning objectives. I am stylistically flexible and comfortable teaching a wide range of genres of music most particularly Jazz, contemporary (Pop, rock, funk) and Western Classical (Ameb grades included).
With an in depth understanding in jazz piano performance and composition, I can also teach in depth music theory, composition and improvisation skills on both Piano and Guitar.
