Bio

”Music can make a powerful contribution to the education and development of children, having benefits which range from those that are largely academic to the growth of social skills and contribution to overall development. It is a unique form of communication that can change the way pupils feel, think and act. Ofsted say that children’s involvement in music engages and re-engages pupils, increasing their self-esteem, and maximising their progress in education and not just in music’’
From ‘’The Importance of Music’’, Department for Education.

”Music has a power of forming the character and should, therefore, be introduced into the education of the young.’’
Aristotle

“Pavel is such a caring teacher. He genuinely wants his students to have a positive experience and is willing to go the extra length to ensure they do. I love hearing Isabella play the ''Moonlight'' Sonata while I'm cooking dinner! Isabella's favourite thing is performing at the students' concerts Pavel organises.''

Jennifer Brown

“All of our three children have taken lessons from Pavel and we always enjoy them. Pavel’s extraordinary skill and experience are inspiring to everyone; it is good for our children to hear him play and aspire to have the same beautiful tone. Pavel has been able to share a variety of ideas and exercises to show us how to improve tone quality and technique. He is patient and personable and is always very enthusiastic about music.''

Michelle Smith

“Pavel is my first experience with a music teacher as an adult. I am very happy with his style, and the way he teaches. He can adapt very well to an individual’s learning needs, and he is a joy to watch play an instrument. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.''
