Music Learning Goals

Jhed strives to be a music educator that provides his students with the wonderful opportunities that only music can bring such as perseverance, hard work ethic, social skills and self-motivation.

Jhed has had a background in classical music training and specialises in violin and piano playing. He has expert knowledge of the AMEB system and prepares his students to achieve high marks and to the best of their abilities in practical and theoretical examinations. Jhed also has a passion for pop music playing and playing for leisure. He values all forms of music playing and also teaches students who have started their musical journey through informal methods such as youtube.

His teaching background in High School music allows him to write and arrange recent pop songs for his students, no matter if they are a beginner or advanced musicians. His students enjoy playing his music transcriptions and progress their musical abilities as a result.

As a performer, Jhed manages and leads a string quartet that plays classical and contemporary music at corporate functions, weddings and other formal events.
