Bio

Yuki studied guitar with Gordon Crosskey and Wendy Jackson at Chetham’s School of Music (Manchester, U.K.). He has a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from Royal College of Music, London, where he studied with Gary Ryan, Charles Ramirez and Chris Stell as a Foundation Scholar. In 2008, Yuki performed in Royal Albert Hall, London as part of Cathcart Spring Prom. In 2016, Yuki performed ‘Concierto de Aranjuez’ by Joaquin Rodrigo with Euodia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Toru Himeno. He has released 2 CDs with the flute & guitar duo J-Symphonie. Yuki has many years of teaching experience in U.K., Japan and Australia. Yuki currently teaches at Octave8 Music Academy in Sydney.

Teaching Info

Learn how to play the classical guitar in a friendly atmosphere!

Lessons can be provided for players of all levels, including those who have never touched the instrument before. For total beginners, lessons will cover the most basic technique and learning to read music, leading to easy pieces. Lessons for advanced players are also available for those wishing to build repertoire, perform and learn good practice habits.

Lessons are offered in both English and Japanese. Free guest parking is available during lessons.

Home lessons are available for an additional fee ($10 within 5km or $15 within 10km) – please enquire for details.
