Bio

I have been trained on the drum kit from early childhood, and bass guitar since adolescence. Focussing on jazz during my high school years, I have since developed a keen interest in pop, electronic, dance and indie/alternative genres. I am a regular performer in Sydney’s Inner West music scene, as well as a regular composer and producer, both collaboratively and as a solo artist. My current projects range from electronic dance music to alternative pop, indie rock, funk and jazz.

I am a current full-time student at the Sydney Conservatorium of music in the Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Music Practice) degree. To this date I have kept a high distinction average across theory, composition/songwriting, recording, music production and performance units.

Music has brought me joy and I want to share what I know so that more people have the opportunity to find their own musical connection and expression.

Teaching Info

Fundamentals of drum and bass guitar playing technique, weekly exercises. Support with building a practice routine that suits your level of experience.

Collaboratively-directed learning: guidance and instruction with styles or pieces of interest to you!

For students interested in songwriting and production: creative exercises, production and recording techniques, mixing and mastering advice. Please approach me with any questions about music theory too including fundamentals of rhythm and harmony 🙂

Please inquire about your particular interests – I will tailor lessons to your needs and aspirations!

I’m happy to travel to anywhere in the Inner West. Currently not teaching from my own space – if you’re a drum student you will need to have your own kit.
